Description
Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Laurentii’ has stiff, upright leaves edged in a buttery yellow band, and it may be the single toughest plant we sell. It survives dim corners, erratic watering, and long stretches of being ignored entirely.
Its architectural, sword-like form works anywhere from a windowless bathroom to a bright office desk, and it actually prefers you underwater it rather than over. If you have killed plants before, this is where we would start you over.
Care
- Handles low light but grows a bit faster in bright, indirect light
- Water sparingly — let the soil dry out completely between waterings
- No humidity requirements to speak of; average dry air is fine
- Mildly toxic if eaten — keep away from pets that like to nibble

I have killed every plant I have ever owned and this one refuses to die. Ten months and counting. Buy the snake plant.
